I'm Growin' Up

I've always heard the occasional "You're getting so big", "You're growing up so fast" but never thought much, I always thought "Oh yeah right I'm only 11", "I'm only 12", "I'm only 13", but when I recently went to my orientation for high school I realized that what everyone was saying was right. I thought it seemed like it was just yesterday that I'd gone on the bus for kindergarten and had been terribly embarrassed by my WHOLE family their (which probably would not have bothered me much now). I've gotten used to my Mom telling me to not mention that I was going to high school because "It makes me feel old". But when I went to good old Monrovia High School and saw the giants that went there I felt like I was a teenager. But this time it was FOR REAL. I don't wanna grow Up. I wanna stay the way I am. I don't want to pay bills and own a house and have to clean everything.

You're getting so big! (You are, but in the best, mature way. I'm so proud.)

And don't worry. I'm sure your mom will come clean your house. She's cleaned mine when it got so bad even SHE couldn't stand it. :-)

a. go to college so that you can make over $100,000 a year and you can pay someone to clean your house
or
b. make sure you marry a really rich guy

This will solve the house cleaning problem. However, nothing can stop the getting older part! xoxoxo
